It's a simple idea really. Take one disposable camera and take just one picture with it. It can be anything, but take something that's special to you; a location, a person, anything. Use Twitter to find someone to send the camera too and post it to them.
The next person should also take a picture that's special to them and find someone else to send it to. This goes on and on until the film is all used up. The last person sends the camera back to the first person to get the film printed.
Then, those snaps get uploaded somewhere and shared here.
I wonder how far those cameras can travel...

This is lovely. I'm most certainly in. I'll be heading out to buy a disposable camera at lunchtime.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing lots of flickr sets chronically the journey of each camera.
I'm up for it!
ReplyDeleteI think I have a spare disposable from years back - oh no its out of date.
ReplyDeleteA vague theme (per camera) would be good.
I'm up for it.
ReplyDeleteI'm intrigued to know how you're going to attach a disposable camera to a @ twitter message...
ReplyDeleteIt's a nice idea, but are you really going to give out your home address to someone that you only know through Twitter?
@Alan, it really depends, so far I know all of the volunteers personally so that's not an issue. But you could get it sent to a business address, or arrange to meet in person as alternatives to home addresses.
ReplyDeleteIt's the deliciousness of it all =)
This sounds like a great idea!
ReplyDeleteI'm up for it.
Count me in!
ReplyDelete@Iain, get on Twitter and leave a #cameramigration tag for people to find you. All the cameras have their first stop.
